Here are the numbers I've seen floating around:

$13 million - cost of building new course
$500,000 - annual cost for maintaining the course.

I have a feeling City Putt (the city park putt putt course) is going to end up being more profitable than this new golf course...

Even though I'm against a second course, you can't look at numbers in vs out and base it soley on the course. If the course can hold a PGA tournament, regional economic dollars come in to play. I admit the financial pros of the course are legitimate.

The city is out zero dollars no matter what happens. The park gets its portion of public funds from the state and some federal grants, which isn't a lot. I want to say it's maybe 20%, but my numbers could be wrong, so don't quote me on that.
