To me, Magic Kingdom only ranks so high for nostalgia purposes and because they have the best hours out of all the parks.
Epcot is my favorite.

I guess I rank mine by experiences available (includes food)
Epcot:
love Soaring, Illuminations, test track, American adventure, figment, and the educational aspects of Spaceship Earth, Living with the land, the countries' films, and energy ride. The food is the best. Fish and chips in the UK, La hacienda at Mexico, kriglas at Norway, pastries in France, Japans hibachi, Italys Pizzeria, and now they have Starbucks
Magic Kingdom:
Crowds keep it from being first. Assortment of rides, parades, and fireworks is the best, but I only found a couple of dining experiences that I would do: Cosmic Rays, Liberty Tavern, Columbia Harbor House
Hollywood Studios:
our favorite place during Christmas season, but 2nd in ride favorability. 50s Primetime Café, Sci-fi drive in, and Mama Melroses are the only dining experiences that we enjoy
Animal Kingdom:
can be done in half a day (unless you hang around viewing the animals). Only place I enjoy eating is the Flame Tree BBQ (which is currently closed)

How?
I can understand for the nostalgia, but in no way does MK beat out Epcot or Animal Kingdom.
