Yes, the offense was anemic in the Rkansas game and Chavis did his job with the D, then. But to rationalize that because of that Chavis was justified in mailing it in against ND and to label objections to that as whiny is itself an extended whine about our offensive shortcomings.

The whole point about the Chavis/LSU/A&M lawsuit, though, is about his failure to coach to the best of his abilities or at the very least his conflicted interest by being invested in A&M while being paid by LSU. That is the issue here. Wanting to leave is his right, whatever the motivation, but he can't have his cake and eat it, too. As long as he was under contract with LSU, he had the responsibility to carry out the terms of that contract in good faith. The ND game, here, is a speculative observation of his breaking that contract.

THAT is the issue here. He was still under contract with LSU and should have displayed professionalism and coached his arse off to the very end. But it appears that he did not put out his best effort because he know he was leaving. And THAT is lacking integrity.
