This is the best advice you'll get right here. Keep the kids moving and doing baseball things. Avoid at at all cost those deadly practices where 2-3 kids are actually practicing at any one time and everyone else is standing around waiting and watching. Do a little homework and find drills that involve several kids at once and use stations. (the internet and experienced youth coaches are good resources). And I agree with the poster who said 1-1 1/2 hours should be the max. 2 or 3 times a week is fine, 2 probably better while school is in session.
