Aquistapace in Covington and Rainbow Liquor on Magazine Street carry it for $24. Powers is the most sold whisky in Ireland. Jameson was my favorite cheap whisky until an Irishman turned me on to Powers.

I know they sell Powers at Martin Wine Cellar in Baton Rouge, cuz I've bought it there before. I wanna say I paid $18 or so a bottle for it.
I heard that the reason for Powers' popularity is that Jameson is seen as Catholic whiskey and Bushmills is seen as Protestant whiskey -- so if you're out for a drink at an Irish pub and you don't want no shite, it's easier to get Powers. Plus, the price and the quality are the same as Jameson and Bushmills.
