Ok that's what I thought 
it's terrible, and not even in a complex way. There are a lot of movies that I just can't zero in what I like and dislike. There are some that need another viewing or time to digest it
You can just go through this one and identify everything you hate about it. Which is one of the numerous flaws...it is 100% without subtlety (look at the title for Christ's sake)
Pretty amazing because look at the cast, you'd think it would be really good

I can't fathom how you can hate a movie where the bad guy British a-hole literally dies at the hand of Mel Gibson, a bayonette, and an American Flag (frick you, horse's chest).
Also, Mel Gibson is definitely American.
