I guess I'm just thinking about it in my own terms and how I've experienced it. I wasn't trying to say that people don't make mistakes; I definitely understand that.

You wouldn't do that to someone you love. If you truly cared about someone, you'd never do anything to betray their trust or crush them like cheating does. So no, I don't think people who cheat truly love the person they're dating. They're sorry sacks of shite.
