ATL, we are kind of stuck with Jrue, but wouldn't Reke/Cole be the most realistic option for us considering Jrue can't stay on the floor? Gordon is injury prone, too, so we are basically stuck with him as well unless he opts out.

I just don't know why we would move the one guard we have that consistently gets on the floor.

Assuming that we keep Reke, what does that do us long term? Do we go and get another PG after Jrue falls off the books? Isn't this the more likely path?

I agree. I think we need to keep Tyreke on the team at the very least until we know Jrue is ok. And honestly I'd like to keep him long term as the 6th man. His ability to break a defense is exactly the kind of thing you need in the playoffs.

If the worst happens with Jrue, then I'd say yeah. One of the good things about Cole is he does some of the same things as Jrue on the cheap. Not as well of course, but he can help make up for the loss of Holiday.

Gordon will be an expiring in a season where teams will be clearing cap for the Durant sweepstakes. If he stays healthy and productive I think you can actually trade him for some value, and I'm not opposed to keeping him long term.

I disagree with the contention we need another HOFer, at least the notion that we need to trade for a currently known HOFer. AD will turn someone into a HOFer. Did anyone look at guys like Pippen and Parker and think HOFer before they became the guy that helped the All Time Great win it all?
