Tame Impala releases new single "Let it Happen" from upcoming album

It definitely has a different sound than anything Tame Impala has done before and at almost 9 minutes it is their longest track. Whether its an indication of the album's overall sound is still to be seen as Elephant was the lead single for Lonerism iirc and I felt it was not a good representation of that album overall
Kevin Parker has said he is interested in getting into electronica though and this song and his collboration with Mark Ronson Daffodils are indications he is serious.
Anyways, it will be interesting to see if the new album is similar to this single or if it will have the more traditional Tame Impala sound to it. I'm hoping that Flow makes it on. Sucks that we still don't have a release date for the album

Flow is such an old song probably 7 yrs old. Its not going to be on the album.
I can see why they are leaning towards a more electronic sound. If you listen to their Live album from a Chicago show, there is a lot of electronic influence in it.
