When we are fishing in the pond, I always take a cricket and throw it out on the water. If it gets hit within a few seconds, I get the fly rod. It if swims back to the bank, I try something else.

The bream in my pond haven't been too active. I've tried feeding pellets and I get a few but not many. I'm sure it will heat up the next couple of weeks
