Venison jambalaya? Recipe?

Looking to make some jambalaya with ground venison... Would it be ok mixed with zatarains jambalaya mix?

Is the venison mixed with pork?
If so go for it. My father in law makes it with the Oak Grove Jambalaya Mix, he just adds a browned onion and cooks it to package diresctions and it comes out great.
