Nope, because male developers do the exact opposite of draw attention to it. Can you give me a link to a news story where someone made good on their death threat to a game developer/reviewer?

I honestly don't even need evidence to know that male developers/reviewers get similar bullshite thrown at them, because I've received them too. And this was back when I was just a writer/editor of a local magazine. Just a stupid college rag with college humor, low-brow satire, and generally crappy-ish writing that made literally no difference in the world. But people are people and think they matter more than everyone else, and when of those people gets offended, they jump behind their keyboards, and that's where they stay.

Again, you cant just waive all this shite off and say that these people never do anything b/c you just don't know when a crazy person is actually going to do it.

I'm sorry man but that is a ridiculous stance to have.

The people doing this crap need to be outted and need to be punished. Its not ok for them to be doing it, its not ok to waive it off like its no big deal and just some internet lulz, and its not ok to blame people getting harassed even more b/c they have the gall to mention some frick threatened to kill/rape them.

Ignoring a problem does not fix a problem. This shite is a problem.
