I think Frozen suffers from gender bias (especially against a movie about a video game -- could you GET more boy friendly?), but this bias is more age based. Robin Hood, Fox and the Hound, and Sword in the Stone for a certain generation were the movies most likely to be your first exposure to Disney. and it's hard to shake that. The animation is clearly a step down (but it does have Phil Harris, and that makes up for a lot), but for a certain age group: that is the Disney house style. That's also the generation that makes a big part of this board.

Sleeping Beauty is getting hurt by a tough draw. Jungle Book is the last movie Walt worked on, and it also has some of the most memorable songs ever. Jungle Book is real highly regarded by Disney geeks. This shouldn't be a 2nd round matchup.

i think on a message board filled mainly with male posters jungle book will go very far as its probably the most macho disney movie there is.
