Utter annihilation. That game was 40-12 in about 10 minutes. I was a huge fan of the four best teams actually playing in the biggest games.

I'll throw 2009 into the mix. The Big East that year was absurd. Three of the #1 seeds came from that league in UConn, Pitt and Louisville. The dream final that season would have been UConn and Pitt playing again but it didn't work out that way. Another Big East team (Villanova) knocked Pitt out at the buzzer in the Elite Eight. Pitt/UNC would have been an unreal Final Four game. UConn caught the shite end of the stick by getting Michigan State's A+ game in the Final Four....in Michigan.

UConn, Pitt, UNC and Louisville were absolutely loaded that year.
