Pretty bad frick-up. Sadly, someone probably did proof it, but an inexperienced editor reads the sentence for what it should be and not what it is. I'm betting 80% or more of its recipients didn't notice the error.

agreed...it is exceedingly hard to make yourself catch all of the small words when missing...your mind just fills in the blanks.
