I've never used Humminbird, but you're better off using a potato for GPS than a Garmin.
ETA: Garmins are the most user friendly, but the map detail is lacking.

humminbird is pretty bad as well, if you fish marsh or coastal areas and saltwater lakes, areal imagery is the only way to navigate. most cards will be land where its water on the GPS
