Lees Drive in on Thomas Street. Great food, cute friendly waitresses, throwback atmosphere.
Trey Yuen has lunch menu and prices on Monday and Thursday if you like Chinese.

Tommy's Pizza is pretty solid, the food at Mariners Inn was decent. I think I enjoyed my food at Berry Patch Cafe, but had a weird experience where a server criticized an on-the-menu order for being too complicated. I actually really like Thai Green Leaf on South Morrison.

That used to be my go to place to eat while I was in College in the early 80's. Every Friday for lunch I would get a club sandwich and fries, that is, until I got about 1/5 of an afro in my sandwich. Dey shoulda called it "Up in da club sandwich".
I know 30 plus years have passed, but I still get the dry heaves if my travels take me past Lee's Drive in.
