I'm now in the 2nd half of season 4 (which originally aired in 2001)..... Surprised I haven't completely stopped on the rewatch because I really only did this for nostalgia and just wanted to see the first 2 seasons. Season 4 is definitely the best season though as far as characters and writing (which isn't saying much as far as writing goes, though.) I think season 3 is when it started to find a peak and had the full audience bandwagon effect. I remember it being a big part of pop culture at the time, and you'd have the Adebisi references as jokes and whatnot on late night shows etc.
Stupidest shite so far, of any season, although intriguing..... The aging pill premise. A pill that ages you so many years, that you get credit as time served relative to the years it aged you. I totally forgot about this, but it's so stupid that anyone would even invent such a pill, where it's sole purpose was to decrease the prison population
Also, the Tim McManus always asking someone to dinner line. It was just as common as "you killed Kenny." Except I don't remember anyone ever making jokes about it. It kind of reminds me of Walt Jr. and his breakfast on Breaking Bad. An episode of Oz wouldn't be complete without McManus asking someone to have dinner with him.
