I have epilepsy, so climbing stands aren't really the best thing for me. I have to stay away from heights.
So I only hunt deer from a box stand or a ground blind.

I fell in 2012 and broke my neck and blew a disc out backwards into my spinal cord. I had my spinal cord mashed flat against the back of my neck. Worked for 3 weeks and didn't know. Had 3 surgerys and now am disabled. I am still able to walk a little. I am not supposed to shoot anything bigger than a .22 LR. I got a 6.5x55 Swede to deer hunt with. My hands and feet are still numb. I cut and burn my hands all the time and don't feel it. Can't draw a bow anymore, lost a lot of strength. I am just glad to still be walking and breathing. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)
