If they have her run for vp on Frank's ticket then my suspension of disbelief will have officially been broken too far. It seems like having her run for president is what they were hinting at the whole second half of the season. That's pretty ridiculous but a little more palatable. I hope they come up with something better than both of those though. Things might just be getting too stupid for me.

Honestly, I'd be shocked if they don't do that next season.

And I really don't get why Claire is so beloved. Because she was raped and stood up for a self righteous a-hole because he was gay? Sorry, but I'd like to think our general population is dumb enough to fall for the fact that Claire is not a power hungry inexperienced bitch when her husband makes her ambassador to the UN. I think even the dumbest among us would see through this bullshite (aside from hyper feminists).

My biggest worry that the last few episodes of S3 gave me was that the writers have an agenda with Claire. I felt like they are trying to force her and her agenda down our throats instead of letting the show play out. I'm not sure if the writers realize this, but Claire is a terrible politician. She's weak and incompetent and is pretty much only in the positions she's been in because of Frank. I have no idea why everyone in HoC loves her so much. My fear is that the series ends with her being on top of the world and Frank heading to prison or dead. I will completely despise this show if that is ultimately the end game.
