Would be curious to see the reaction to young black or arabic guys exercising their 2A rights. They'd probably get shot.

Here's the issue I see:
He violated no laws even after he was questioned and subsequently illegally detained (in my mind).
The officer was calm, cool and collected and went through what he thought was the proper protocol but it turns out he had no legal right to do what he did.
If all of you people feel so strongly that he shouldn't have the right bear arms and that that right should NOT be infringed, then work to get the laws changed. Just because the Supreme Court ruled that something is unconstitutional doesn't mean that can't be changed if the citizenry wishes.
As it stands now, this individual didn't need to identify (in Texas)even his name nor submit to questioning. And should never have been detained. That's 100% the law.

I agree with those that said just because it's your right doesn't mean it's wise to do it.
