Every time I try frozen dinners I'm disappointed. A friend told me today I should try Amy's. Any reviews out there? TIA.

Hi Zach
Never had them, but Here are reviews for you.
I looked at the Tamale Verde review and couldn't get past the first photo. Looked grim.
That's all I'm saying.

Some co-workers swear by them. Think it's more to do with marketing than with value or taste though. I tried one of the Indian ones once. Despite being packed full of sodium it was pretty bland. Never bought again.

I actually enjoy them especially the Indian ones. They are also pretty healthy having no artificial ingredients. Check out the ingredient list on them.

I don't think I've had one that I didn't enjoy, although the low sodium ones could use a little, well, sodium (ha). And I don't eat that much salt.
My husband hated the Thai Curry one but I liked it, just more calories than I care to consume at lunch. His favorite is probably Thai Pad Thai or the cheese ravioli. My favorite is the roasted vegetable tamale.
Evol is another good brand of frozen dinners.

I haven't eaten a frozen dinner in over a decade. I finally found something I am food snobby about, I would be interested to see if there are some decent options.
Seems like it should be an easy thing to accomplish with little processing, but that isn't the deal with most of what is no the shelf.

The Evol brand of frozen foods are great, IMO.
They actually taste like food and I usually buy several for lunch during the week.
