There is absolutely zero reason to build a huge championship golf course in New Orleans. Louisiana is a terrible golf state, and not exactly a destination for people looking to play golf.

Why would you want this when we already have the one crappy City Park Course and the pitch and putt Audubon course? I hope it's a pretty expensive course that attracts real golfers. Would love for it to be semi private. I can't wait to see it restored and everyone should be excited that it's going to be better than ever. Hoorah for progress!
