Little Feat on the Riverboat President for Jazz Fest in 1988. It was their first concert after the death of Lowell George and they were really pumped up. The crowd was really into it. They also had Bonnie Raitt, Jimmy Buffet, and Ed Bradley join the band.

Janes Addiction at the NOLA music hall in 90 (time and place made it good)
Pearl Jam at Tips 91 (again .. in the moment, but special show)
Wilco in Amsterdam 05 (in an old church and nobody talked)
At the Drive In at the Bayou 2000
Public Enemy/No Doubt at the Varsity 91 ...
Fugazi, PJ Harvey, Bad Brains, Melvins all put on great shows at Tips in the early 90's

man I haven't thought about that show in years...I was there too and you are right, it was incredible

the president was such a great spot to see a show. Another good one I saw there was robert cray

Best show I ever saw though was Neil young at the worlds fair amphitheater in 1984
