Saw him in '99 with Paul Simon at the Cajun Dome and he was great! Saw him 2 years ago and left about a 1/2 hour into it.. it was terrible..
That said, if you wanna see him, go... worst it can be is bad, but you may catch him on a good night!

Hopefully he doesn't go strolling around like a lost old senile man again.

Wasn't worth seeing 40 years ago. Wonder if he ever went back to Mobile.

I don't buy the "just wanted to say I saw him" logic.

Why? A person might go to a great sporting venue (Lambeau, The Big House, Fenway, etc..) and see their team get destroyed... but they go in order to see the game and say they've seen a game at that venue.
Lots of people who are into music/concerts collect shows in the same way other people collect other things. It's neat to be able to I saw a legend, and it becomes even more appreciated when/if that legend is gone.
Another example: I saw a ton of really crappy Grateful Dead shows in the 94/95. Jerry forgot words. Bobby cheesed it up. Vince played Samba in the Rain. They were nowhere near as good of shows as they were doing back in their prime. That being said, how many people would have loved to have gotten to see the Dead live, even if it wasn't the Dead in their prime?

Got tickets for his April 19 show in Orlando. Incidentally, Roger McGuinn lives here, so there's a reasonable chance he might be part of the show. I'm hoping.

You're only paying for the name "Dylan".... His shows are really crap. If you were a hippy back in the 60's you might of thought of him as cool or a folk hero but not much to really see or hear.

I'm prepared for that. Hoping as much to see McGuinn play a few songs with him; that would redeem even the worst performance.

i would think that if you like his last few albums, it's worth seeing. If you dont, then hell no

I saw him on the Americana tour a few years ago just to say I saw him live before he croaks. His band was excellent but I could barely understand a word.

This example only works if you're going to see him at a venue that is legendary. If you aren't going for the venue, you're going for what's being performed inside the venue. And if what's being performed inside the venue is going to suck, then I don't see why you pay not-insubstantial money to hear it.
Just my opinion.
