I don't think that is the case. Maybe he worded it wrong but I think a large percentage of fathers would take some action beyond sitting around hoping that our often times screwed up justice system actually provides justice equal to the deed. I would be one of the fathers that went beyond. How far beyond would be based on many variables.That does not make me an internet badass but just cognizant of my protective nature.

I could never hurt another kid, but I would confront the parents and if one smart arse remark or indignant denial came out it would probably do something I regret within the next 24 hours.

It's easy to say what you would do, but doing the right thing is so much harder which means not condoning violence from violence to another child. Parents however I have zero tolerance for their actions.
