The Thin Man series has a lot of good stuff in it.

If you are in the mood for a comedy I'd suggest the least family friendly family comedy ever made... Mr. Hobbes Takes A Vacation.

It is worth watching if only to see Jimmy Stewart refer to someone as "its a white pygmy" or "Where's that albino?" Though little can compare to a dear old grandfather addressing his grandson as "You little creep."

The Detective marked a move towards — and was billed as — a more "adult" approach to depicting the life and work of a police detective while confronting, for one of the first times in mainstream cinema, previously taboo subjects such as homosexuality.

New York City police detective Joe Leland is called to the home of a murder victim who has been beaten to death and has had his genitals removed.

1968 movie starring Sinatra that I end up watching every time it comes on tv.

I've watched every one of them. William Powell and Myrna Loy were great. And Asta, of course.

Kind of corny now, I guess, but it's still pretty funny. "Boom Pa"

And here's one you need to watch:

Laura with Dana Andrews and Gene Tierny. Directed by Otto Preminger.

Nice little noir film with a twist. And a great theme song.

Another great series - especially the first one, but I don't know how obscure it is - William Powell and Myrna Loy would make a ton of money in the five (5) sequels.

Probably the first "mega" film franchise other than, maybe, the Marx Brothers films.
