poked my head inside the little District handpie/coffee location...meh. Went across the street and down a bit to Ps & Qs & had a hiVolt coffee.

HiVolt is the most overrated, overpriced coffee in the city. Go right down the street to Mojo. They put out a much better product at lower prices.

Neither District nor District Pies intrigues me, hence I've never visited save to get a quick drip coffee once .. which was tepid and sour. Never eaten there. Dessert pastries for breakfast isn't my thing.

$12+ For craft style cocktails...

My Old Fashioned was $12. Nothing crafty about that.

I do find the portion sizes to be small, but I expect that in a nice restaurant. I have no problem with the food prices, because it's damn good food, and I've never been disappointed in the food.

I'm really sad that they no longer have a happy hour.

I am curious about those savory pies. Location is borderline comfort though.
