Dog mauls 2-year-old girl to death

A 2-year-old girl was killed Sunday night when a pit bull mauled her in West Mifflin.
The Allegheny County medical examiner’s office identified the girl as Taylynn Devaughn, of Forest Hills.
She was attacked by the pit bull at 8:45 p.m. at a home she was visiting in the 3900 block of Fleetwood Drive, said West Mifflin police Chief Kenneth Davies. She was taken to Jefferson Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, authorities said.
It is unclear who the dog belonged to or whether any charges will be filed. Allegheny County police are investigating.
An autopsy is scheduled today.
I'm sure she provoked the dog and had it coming.
CBS is saying the girl's name is actually Paylynn Devaugh

Chihuahua's certainly lose their shite all the time - but when they do, they might break the skin.
It's not that pitbulls are violent dogs - they're violent dogs with heightened combat capabilities. It's like having explosives in your house - "safe" dogs are like having firecrackers, pitbulls are like having artillery shells.
