Why put Blue Wave so far back?

Blue Wave seems to vary in opinion the most. Everything I've read puts them on the exact same level as boats like Nautic Star and Blazer Bay. Then you get some people that say they are better and some that say they are terrible. Why?

On the OP's list, I'd probably rank them: 1) Pathfinder 2a) Blue Wave 2b) Nautic Star.

And,just FYI, that is relying mostly on what I've read online. We have a BW Purebay 2200 and are happy with it. The 2400 is a gorgeous boat that seems very fishable and well equipped.

I have ridden in three of them over the last few years. None of them handled like I felt they should. Lay out was okay in my opinion. IMO they are an inexpensive boat that allows many to get into a larger bay boat that is functional. However the quality just isn't there, that's my opinion take it or leave it.

Pathfinders are a nice boat hands down out of those three that would be my choice. However they are also a light boat compared to boats in their class, but they ride well.
