Overall I liked Outcast more but the lightsaber stuff in Academy is better, especially since you have additional stances to choose from with the double-bladed sabers and the option to dual-wield.

What I enjoy with Outcast (outside of the story) is how you don't start out a Jedi. You feel so weak those first few missions. Then, once you become a Jedi, the contrast is a lot of fun, especially as you grow in power each mission.
