Lived in the married student apartments '79-'81. Baseball didn't draw much of a crowd back then.

The outfield fence along Nicholson was chain link with bushes behind it to shield view from the parking lot. Me and the buddies would get a six pack or two and the folding chairs and get between the bushes. You couldn't see much happening at home plate but really talk to the outfielders. It was great. Unfortunately, campus police didn't always agree with our idea of fun.

Late 70s, seem to remember seeing more pigeons than fans in attendance
