I booked a RV spot for 3 nights in early March. The kids/wife will want to fish and so will I. Any of yall been lately? With my 3 little ones it will be bank fishing with night crawlers/shiners. I havent been there in years. Its just a little getaway with mayybe some fishing thrown in.

Went last year with kayaks and didn't do much. Couple bass and a couple sacs. Did well running yo-yos one night. Caught about 10 catfish on a dozen yo-yos on two runs. All were about 3 pounds. It was COLD though. I think it was in the 30's the first day.

They have a nice pier to fish off of and I think most cabins have areas to fish. I think the warden told me Cabin #1 had the best fishing.

Give me a shout when y'all are there. I live about 15 minutes away, I'll bring my boat and we can run around in the boat one day.

I use to bass fish it a lot. Mainly during summer months. Caught a lot of slot bass. Tried to catch some bream but not much luck. Don't know about bank fishing.
There is a dam that and I imagine you could do decent from it. It drops off pretty quick and gets deep

Most times I was there I saw more pond hopped with trolling motor than bass boats.
Should be able to find plenty places to fish from the bank. Dam, water control structure and places on the west side of the lake

It's not a big lake.
Last time I fished it I launched my boat and trolled around to the spots. It's a place you can fish in a small boat with troll motor.
They do have a nice pier by the ranger station and some cabins you have access to the lake.

It's growning on my. Not sure the gas motor had the torque I want.
Getting windows tinted tomorrow and still need a bumper. Will probably put in a cold air intake and maybe exhaust to get a little more power.
