Hell, Californians consider Sacramento to have a shitty climate and a boring geography yet it's leaps and bounds better than Austin. It's less humid, more consistent and within 2 hours of real mountains or a cold beach. The American River is legit, as well.

Do you really believe that cost of living in CA is the same as Austin? CA housing is much more expensive, and like you said, you get a lot more over there. So naturally, you have to pay for it.

Rummel, what you need to do is sell and then move to the next up and coming area. That's what I'd like to do. Then you can really profit and still get a good house and good investment.

Nice...

Have you been to Mouton's? Maybe we could meet there? And, by all means, bring your lady friend.

This thread turned out how I would expect a San Fran thread to turn out.

Ends up with two dudes meeting up.

Yeah, crazy that two people with similar interests and things in common would be interested in meeting each other.

Maybe THREE!

Never heard of Mouton's. Let's catch a LSU game later on. My lady and I are swamped right now moving, etc. My small amount of free time I get is spent fishing.
