I thought the Boeing 717 was an old MD design. It looks really cool. It wins on aesthetics.....but it's cabin is also more comfortable IMO.
I was on a CRJ that caught on fire in Baton Rouge about 8 years ago. I've hated those jets since then, but they are hard to avoid if you travel a lot.
