The New Orleans Saints re-signed kicker Shayne Graham and outside linebacker Parys Haralson for nearly $1 million each, although it would count for far less against the team's salary cap.
Graham will make a base salary of $970,000 and Haralson $870,000, according to NFLPA records.
Both figures represent the league minimum for the player's credited service time. Graham has 14 accrued seasons; Haralson has nine.
Only $585,000 of their base salaries will count against the salary cap in 2015 because of the veteran minimum benefit. The benefit is meant to encourage teams to sign veteran players by limiting their cap burden.
