Oh yeah, our camp is two pockets up from San Miguel so I fish up there a lot. I've caught a lot of good fish up there, and had a no doubt double digit to the boat and it came off.

They ony caught one keeper yesterday, but quit fishin around noon because he had to work last night. One of his fishing buddies that lives on the lake only caught two, also. Seems like it was a bad couple of days.

Next week should be nice, lows in the high 40s and highs in the high 60s all week long.

We will be at South State Park. If wind allows, I'm hitting 6 mile and Sandy. If not, Yokum and the Islands.

I won't be there this weekend, but I will the one after that for sure. We have a club tourney and my uncle that lives in Oklahoma is coming down.

I'm ready for all them suckers to be shallow! If next week's forecast holds true they'll be up sooner than later.

Same. Going to drag a jig in case the perches have come up. That's usually the only way i figure out they have moved up.

Weighed in 5 Friday 13.76 lbs. in 2-5' of water (big grass bed) with the water temp of 46-48 through out the day. Second day caught 1 off it with the temp reaching 53 degrees. Don't know wtf happened. First time I've ever fished that the rod eyes froze

Yeah Saturday was a bad day. High pressure and sunny and they weren't bitingn anywhere. My dad caught 4 keepers Saturday and he said none were over 15".

I fished Calcasieu river and only had one bite. They weren't eating at all. I'll be up there next weekend, we have a club tourney that I can fish either Saturday or Sunday.

Well it was a few teams that done good both days. The winners had 31 lbs the first & for 2 days had 55 lbs. They had to have nets out

Almost guarantee they were fishing deep points with A-rigs. We fished a big tourney last year and thought we were doing good with about 16 pounds. We weren't even close to the money. There were multiple 20-26 pound bags. All of em said they caught them on A-rigs.

That's what we are hoping for... we started a local bass club, and that's our first tournament of the year... hope to make a good showing...

My crew of ab 10 will be at fin and feather all week. Gotta miss this year due to being too busy at work. Will post up some results and any other useful into I get from them in this thread. I'm sure they will be fishing Housen/Indian Mound/Six Mile pretty much exclusively
