I understand, I am just saying LSU needs do what Alabama is doing, specially with the recruiting staff they have now. Why not even go after the best players in Alabama the same way Saban goes after Louisiana players.

Yeah you are right. Lets fight with the staffs of both Auburn and Alabama for the small amount of in state Alabama recruits they have. The only time you get a kid out of Bama, is if they say you can have em (yes I know we got Kwon).

It's not like Louisiana where there is only one big school. The talent in Louisiana is abundant and LSU isn't going to get them all. To tell you the truth, I'd rather the ones we can't get (you know, the guys we want) to go to LA Tech.

I've found a list of LSU's recruiting big board. This is the order in which LSU will be going after players down the list.

We got Kwon because I believe the state schools cooled on him when he got injured. But honestly...in the CalTiger dude's defense, Saban opened the pipeline to Mobile, AL for LSU without any problems. Tuberville stayed upstate back then and Bama was never able to get any consistency. They used to struggle with South Alabama more than LSU did with North LA.

Saban closed that pipeline very successfully when getting to Bama. It's tough to pull kids out of any state, but Bama is harder than most. There is tons of talent in that state though. Prattville, Carver, Vigor, Daphne, etc. All have great programs...that doesn't include the Bham area and Muscle Shoals areas either.

two thirds of the SEC are getting in on this kid....maybe we should disregard his talents just cause.

If LSU signs that bum Keion Joyner before offering the five stars in front of him, I'm going to be like

I just think we should be after 5* players anywhere and by nationally I don't mean only East Texas , Fla, and Georgia.

Where do you think Keion Joyner is from? Where do you think Clifton Garrett was from? Where was Deondre Clark from, what about Ethan Pocic? Didn't we try to get Iman Marshall, Adoree Jackson, and Priest Willis in consecutive years? I mean you know where Sam Montgomery was from right? Those guys are off the top of my head. Not all of them were five stars, but all were at least top 11 at their position (everybody but Clark was top 5) and one of the top 3 prospects of their state

Dude, you are being stupid, and I'm trying to help you out.
