Maybe, just maybe I do the "won't waste your time" thing if I'm in a day of interviews and it becomes apparent I'm not going for the job. But otherwise who wouldn't just hang in there for another half hour.

I know a boss who routinely causes candidates for employment to leave the interview early. He's a strange guy who tends to get argumentative with people he interviews. I've given up on trying to understand if he has a point to this - a method to his madness, if you will, but I think he just can't help but get sucked into a power struggle immediately with someone who MAY become his subordinate.
