same here, really thought about leaving though since they had lined me up for an entire day of interviews with about 8 different people. I guess that was the norm for this company, probably part of the reason I didn't like the place.

I think many companies follow this procedure especially for a high end position. Many years ago I interviewed at EDS (Perot's company) in Plano, TX. It was an all day deal. A woman escorted me around and actually drove me around the various neighborhoods at lunch. They wanted an answer that day once the offer was made (policy!), but that ain't happening for me. They did call the next day and the day after offering the position.
