This...most places I go have a chalk board. As for TV monitors, they can kill the atmosphere at a lot of places. Draught House in Austin have 3 or 4 hanging above the old, wood bar that has a lot of "character" and its just horrible. Almost as bad as hanging your flat screen above your fireplace.
