Regardless of that, based on personal experience I will always consider Rita an insufferable person. Until I hear something other than totally unfounded conjecture from posters on the internet, I will continue to hold Gayle in high regard.

The 3 R's have no more "Right" to Tom's estate than Gayle. Whatever he chooses should hold complete sway, assuming he is found competent.

I really hope he is found competent.
