google never plays the same shuffle twice for me.
sometimes it shuffles my 1980s acid music, sometimes its jazz, sometimes lounge music, sometimes female vocalists, sometimes hard rock..
i dont get it. i have lots of mp3s and maybe mine are tagged better but google music offers me TONS of 'new mixes' on my listen now page and when i say 'play music' on my watch, it just randomly selects a style and goes to town.
eta here's my 'listen now' page. each one with a red arrow are random shuffles google AUTO GENERATED for me
