Well, someone named Matt Cassell did win 11 games with the Pats. He has a point.
So he took a team with 19-0 potential and turned them into an 11 win non playoff team?

1. That 18-1 team never should have been 16-0 at the end of the regular season anyways, but you already know that.
2. They won 11 damn games. They had like the second or third most wins in the AFC that year. The only reason why they didn't make it was because of head to head results and the AFC West champion having 8 wins.
3. Matt Cassel hadn't started since his senior year of high school. In 2000. 8 damn years. The gap between his last start as senior in high school until his first NFL Start was more time than it has been from his First NFL start until now. Let that sink in.
4. Brady has never won a Super Bowl without a top flight defense.
5. Brady wouldn't have won his first super bowl without the refs making an excuse for his fumble against the Raiders and then with Bledsoe leading the team in the second half of that AFCCG against the Steelers.
6. His wife makes more money than him so he automatically is disqualified from best anything talks.
