He is making the same stupid argument some (Colin Cowherd chief among them) try to make when a small market sports team makes a championship game.

That argument holds no water with me. So what if a team is in the 30th largest tv market? Do you think that that Thunder or Packers give a damn how many people in the city limits are watching their games? No. It doesn't matter. Both teams are in a salary cap sport. It means precisely dick.

And I have a hard time calling OKC or San Antonio or Atlanta (Colin actually called Atlanta a small market this morning in reference to the Hawks) when there are several hundred markets out there. San Antonio and OKC aren't small markets, nor is Pittsburgh. You know what's a small market? Tupelo. Waco. Pensacola. Missoula. Those are small markets.

If your city is big enough to support at least one team in a big 4, you aren't a small market. Just because you don't have at least 5 million people living in a 5 miles radius of the damn stadium/arena doesn't mean you are a small market.

So this is the goldbergs but in the 90s with Asians and a bunch of racial humor? Naw. I see they got Kim Jung from The Interview as the dad.
I bet if you take a look at the Broncos roster when they were going deep into the playoffs (thus allowing Davis more carries) you'll find the reason why he was able to accumulate that many carries and thus those many yards while the other three weren't.

You must not play 2k's baseball games. Those are the most god awful sports games on the planet.

But yeah definitely go with NBA2k.
No lie, had a roommate in college break back Taco Bell and started to eat it and said he was going to take a dump and picked up his Taco Bell bag. I asked him if he was going to eat while he pooped and he said yes. I told him he might as well eat now and wait 5 minutes. He'll take a quicker poop post TB.
Clinton Portis was at least just as good as Davis. Don't forget that he was productive in Washington as well before injuries did him in.

And Gale Sayers played what? 6 seasons? I get that his career was detailed by injuries, but there are players who has long more productive careers who were also derailed by injury and they won't sniff the Hall. His inclusion was an emotional decision, not a rational one.
For the Big 4, it'd have to be:

Gretzky
Jordan
Ruth
Jerry Rice

The first three were easy as I believe they are the clear cut bests in their respective sport's history and helped elevate their games in the eye's of the public.

The NFL was the hardest one to decide on. Ultimately I went with the guy I felt had the best career of any player. He played in three separate decades and was productive at a high level in all three. Was a crucial part of multiple championships and was an instrumental part of keeping his teams relevant and competitive even when they weren't serious contenders (which may have been only 3 or 4 seasons in his entire career).

If we were including other sports:

Tiger
Pele
Sampras

Not sure about NASCAR. I'm torn between Earnhardt and Petty.
I are lunch at Applebee's Wednesday and I went to Walmart today. Guess I meet the requirements to see this movie.
I don't believe Davis is a HOFer, but Sayers damn sure shouldn't be one and Davis was easily the better player.

Twas one of the funniest movies released last year. Top 5 at least.
So you browsed reddit last night too, huh? BTW, it has a false leap of logic in there.
There is a RoboTech movie in production btw.
The NFL is still the much, much better product and it's not even really close. The best two sports leagues/products in this country are the NFL and college football, and then there is a huge gap before anyone else factors in.

The NBA calendar shouldn't start until Christmas Day, maybe Thanksgiving Day at the earliest. It's hard for me to really get into the NBA when the better sport is going on and heating up when the NBA starts. It's also hard to care about a regular season when I know over half the teams in the league are going to make the playoffs and 2-4 playoff teams are going to be at or below .500 each year, while the NFL has only had two teams in the history of the league make it in with sub .500 records. They need to lop off at least 4 playoff teams and then we'll have something again.
If he bulks up a little more and develops more range, he'll gone down as the best PF ever.

Only three things can derail him: Injuries, attitude and effort. You can't predict the former and he hasn't shown any issues with the latter
You're right. He's at a higher level than LeBron.
He's still young and still such a freak athlete. If he ever puts it all together he'll be elite, but I doubt we ever see that.

Also, are you factoring in defense...you know, the defense in the Finals where KD had to routinely guard Chalmers because he was such a liability and couldn't guard Lebron?

I don't know what Finals you watched, but Durant was on LeBron the majority of his floor time. I saw some stats breaking it down, but really if you watched the series at all you know that's bullshite.

If it's so easy to say that LeBron is better than why can't anyone produce any proof of it? I provide ample evidence clearly showing that Durant is the better player, yet no one has produced anything showing that LeBron is the better player now. If he is so clear cut the better player then it should be easy to produce at least one stat or something to back up that outdated opinion with.

Durant did a slightly better job scoring, and he is a better scorer no doubt. Lebron was a much better rebounder and passer. And if you wanna factor in defense it's almost no contest.

Slightly better scoring? He shot 7.6% better than him from the field. Durant's EFG was 61.1% to LeBron's 48.6%.LeBron shot like arse from 3 point range that whole series. Durant shot 40%. As for defense, LeBron got worked when he guarded Durant. Battier was the only one who could slow Durant down and even then Durant worked him.

If you want to know why The Heat won and the Thunder lost, then take out LeBron and Durant's numbers and what's left will tell the story.

But any way you slice it, Durant outplayed LeBron head to head as individuals in that series.
