Last time I checked we had a highly touted qb recruit sitting on the bench. That isn't a recruiting issue that's our offensive coaches job to develop that talent.

Highly touted doesn't mean he pans out. Just because he's got 4 stars doesn't mean he's going to work out even if John Elway is his personal QB coach. News flash, the guy in front of him had 4 stars as well, so what then?

It's the coaches job sift through the pretenders, get the quality in here and coach em up. Sometimes players aren't going to pan out no matter who the coach is. JJ was 4 star, Jlee was 4 star, what happened there?

Point remains the coaches need to find a way to consistently get production from linebacker and QB. Whether that's coaching or evaluating talent, there's a failure that constantly causing a production void at both areas.
