I tried that and it didn't work. Like I said in the OP, she is a compulsive liar. Throughout our relationship, she would randomly lie about the dumbest little shite, and for no reason. She wasn't even good at it.

I would've had no problem paying the bill if that was what was needed. The whole debacle was to make her understand what she was doing was bad. She had to drive all of the way back to BR by herself, so hopefully she spent that time reflecting on why I did that and not actually concentrating on the fact that I did it. Now that I've found out all of this stuff recently, I'd be willing to bet it was the latter
