It sucks, but I already said I'm going to check out shelters before I purchase it from a breeder, and I'm fixing my dog whatever sex I get.

So there are dogs at the shelter.... do you just kill all the puppies the breeders have? I don't understand the logic here. The breeders are not going to stop. The dogs were already born. So what difference does it make to get the dog at the shelter. Less chance of getting cujo.
