Saints fan.

I don't think that Cam will end up being anything great, and I think he'll spend most of his career being frustrated at not being better than he is, but there's a good chance that Carolina runs the South for the next five years. New Orleans has a rough patch ahead. Atlanta is a constant choke. Tampa Bay has never had their shite together for more than a couple years in a row.

Eh. I think this season was more of an anomaly for the Saints to be honest. They'll be back in the mix next season, and it's probably a good thing they were humbled. Coaches fired, and players having to take responsibility for how underwhelming they were. Get a CB2, LB help and interior O line (give Brees time and he will kill any team). Injuries also played a factor, but they were just lost as a team this season.

Carolina has a very stout defense, but they lack fire power. I do not believe in Newton carrying a team. I think they'll be in the mix for the NFC south because of having a defense that can keep things close. However, Newton is only a slightly above average quarterback. Auburn Panther fans can say what they want, but the second things start going bad Newton pouts and shows lack of leadership.

Atlanta will be fine depending on how the coaching situation works out. Tons of talent on offense, Matt Ryan is actually a really good quarterback. They could use help on their D, and a RB. If Quinn is in fact their next coach, he's shown what he can do creating a defense. That could be a home run hire for them unfortunately.

Tampa... I feel like every year we think they'll have a breakout season they need a franchise quarterback, but that take a bit of luck. It's not like they are void of talent on that team though.

the only way they'd have a chance to do that is if every other team had a shitty year(s) like this past season.

what Carolina did down the stretch wasn't impressive. They beat bad teams and then won a playoff game against a team on its 3rd string QB. And they even did a few things in that game to help Arizona stay in that game.

I do think carolina has drafted well recently though.

They've had to because their cap situation has been sketchy.
