That article is longer than one of Patrick Reed's belts.

He got drunk and acted like an a-hole at Georgia?
Big deal.
He's gonna grow up. 4 times under 25? Maybe this butthurt douche who wrote the article should quit hating and focus on the positives, like not dropping a point in the Ryder cup last summer.

the writer wasn't particularly critical..
in fact, this is likely all being put out by reed's camp to get it out of the way..

Uhh he spoke on golf and his talent/accomplishments and even said the drunk mistakes weren't a big deal, citing his own drunk mistakes.
The focus was on the fact Patrick cheats and is a complete a-hole to everyone around him. Literally no one likes him besides his own wife. His own parents don't like him.

That's just a shame.
He's very likable. He's got a jolly little look, and has so much power through the slot. Show us where Patrick touched you.

I love articles that use unnamed sources.

Uihlein conceded a short par putt to Reed, and Reed refused to return the favor when Uihlein’s birdie attempt rolled up next to the hole. Uihlein, annoyed, stood over his putt and missed.

golf omerta.
Its a real thing. No one wants to go on record. I knew about the cheating/stealing at UGA and separating from parents before the article.
The Augusta St stuff is all new though to me, but not surprising.
Does anyone know why he was encouraged to not play Scottsdale this weekend? They are being hush hush about it and he didn't listen to the PGA who "encouraged" him not to play.

Have you ever played competitive golf? You concede if they concede to you. Its a gentleman's game.
Knowing Uihlein, he would've made that putt in stroke play because his mind would be right. He probably rushed it in fury after Patrick insulted him like that.
It was a clever mental ploy by Patrick, but its still a douche move.

Lol at the image in my head of Patrick throwing a sandwich at fans in anger
Apparently he was booed badly yesterday and managed to blow it off. I bet he was steaming on the inside

quote:bullshite. In match play you concede only if you think it is a true gimmie. You also concede sometimes if you are scared of short putts in hopes they will do the same for you. The guy missed the freaking putt. Clearly, Reed did the right thing making him hit it

Peter conceded a longer putt to Patrick first. That is 99% of the time reciprocated and it rustled Peter when it wasn't and he couldn't get his head right to make the putt. Again, it was a clever ploy but a douche move.

That was one of the least douchey things I read in the article.
Just cause they concede doesn't mean you gotta go good-good. If I think he might miss that par putt and it will get in his head, I make him putt it in the NCAA championships.
